It’s very interesting to see how gas prices, adjusted for inflation, have been actually falling over the past hundred years. This is probably attributable to the increasing capabilities of technology in regards to extraction and transportation costs, the efficiency of vehicles, and the increased globalization of the world, which has expanded the amount of suppliers of oil beyond the traditional idea of the Middle East.
