Obama Mania Continues

It looks like we will have climate policy coming from the White House no matter who wins the general election in November. The only remaining question is whether we get a tax on energy or a cap and trade system. Here is a quick look at some current proposals floating around congress.

So how can we decide which is the best policy for CO2 emissions ?

I think that it is reassuring that most of these call for economy wide regulation. While, one may argue the minor details about which is better for some time, I believe that any legistlation past would be a gaint step in the right direction. Esspecially if it involves monitoring to allow these facitlites to adapt sooner and start on the road to recovery.

I also think it is interesting to know this is such a growing concern. Any advancements in the efficiency of energy use and pollution in relation to climate change is good. We have slacked in this area so far. I think whoever is voted in will improve our climate because people are starting to understand. EVERYBODY vote for OBAMA!

at least they all have something. i was surprised to see that at least a few were in support of the tax, hard to sell though it may be. i like Stark and Larson's plan the best...
